Monday Motivation: Persistence and Perfection.

Persistence +Growth = Perfection. Persistence closes the gap between you and perfection.

Persistence is the firm or obstinate continuance of action in spite of difficulty or opposition. Persistence can also be defined as the continued or prolonged existence of something.

Perfection is the condition, state or quality of being free or as free as possible from all flaws or defects. Persistence can also be defined as the action or process of improving something until it is faultless or as faultless as possible.

You do not need to be perfect to start up a dream, you do not need to be perfect to be good at what you do or to simply live your dreams. Persistence comes with a handful of determination and zeal and that is absolutely what you need to attain your heart-felt goals. As described above, persistence comes with a continuous practice, which means you should neither stop nor give up on whatever it is you are on a chase for. Persistence comes with dedication as well.
Yes, you may get tired or you may not see results as soon as possible. Giving up would neither bring those results you want to see nor get you where you want to be.

A lot of goal chasers and entrepreneurs stop along the line because of their lack of persistence . Perfection can not and will not stand at your door step or sit on your couch in the parlor and say “here I am”. You need to take steps to meet perfection and that is where Persistence plays a major role in. There is a gap between a goal getter and the goal, persistence is what bridges the gap.

Do not wait until you are perfect before you start, do not wait until you are good at it before you start, do not wait until you have all the resources before you start, start where you are and with what you have and that would take you to where you should be. You want to be a brand influencer but you need quality to sell quantity, you probably cannot get great quality photographs of products or you do not have the finance to purchase great products to review? Start with books, start with the products you can afford and watch how you would grow. Growth is another key factor in reaching perfection, Persistence brings about Growth which brings or equals perfection.

Most importantly God is perfection and you need God everyday and every second, everything is perfect with him, talk to him and do your part and let him take care of the rest. Be persistent in prayer and watch how your works will be perfected. Have a lovely week ahead and don’t stop being persistent and determined .

Lots of love,
Ibiso Kio-Harry.
